For over twenty years, Elaine was a music teacher in the public schools.  She has also served as church pianist, handbell director, director of children’s choirs, and as a volunteer at "The Mission," a ministry to the homeless in Abilene, Texas.  She is presently directing her creative talents toward writing hymn arrangements for the piano. Her works are featured in our Great Hymns of the Faith feature.

Charles has been a bivocational Minister of Music for over thirty years.  For nineteen years he and Elaine served at the First Baptist Church in Clyde, Texas.  He was also the music teacher for fifteen years at the Clyde Elementary School.  Charles is now devoting full time to a children's ministry called Sermons4Kids which provides weekly children's sermons free of charge to pastors and others who minister to children.
